Exemption from university tuition fees

Students enrolled at the University of Tours who are facing financial or personal difficulties may, subject to certain conditions, be reimbursed for their tuition fees for the current academic year; this is granted on an individual basis following a request for a tuition fee waiver.
This waiver applies only to students enrolled in initial education programs who are not scholarship recipients.

This procedure does not apply to those entitled to an automatic exemption :
  • Wards of the Nation,
  • CROUS grant recipients based on social criteria
  • Midwives receiving a regional grant,
  • French government scholarship holders,
  • First-year nursing students receiving a regional grant.

For refugees, asylum seekers, applicants for subsidiary protection, and beneficiaries of subsidiary or temporary protection
