Within the framework of the PIA, the University has set up a complementary project to the MabImprove labex: the objective is to support the development of apprenticeship via a strengthened partnership between industrialists, training players, research establishments and local authorities.

Bio3 Institute

The Bio3 Institute project was born out of the observation that the health industries were going to evolve towards another mode of production of active ingredients (biomedicines and cosmetic bioactives) through biotechnologies. To support this change, the University of Tours and the ITM Group wanted to set up a reference centre in the field of bioproduction: Bio3 Institute is a 2,200 m2 technology platform designed as a mini bioproduction factory respecting flows and constraints.
