An extensive network of university polytechnic engineering schools exists throughout the world; these schools, which are often prestigious, combine scientific expertise, from research, with exceptional opportunities for business and technological development. Polytech'Tours is one of these (for more information, visit our website: http://www.polytech.univ-tours.fr).

  • Non-francophone student registration
• Admission during the BAC+1 year: no individual applicant admission.
• Admission during the BAC+3 year: admission is based on the application file and on an interview. The students selected will take part in adapted and reinforced French language classes. Programme cost: 3,000 euros.

  • Francophone student registration
• Students holding a scientific baccalaureate must pass the national GEIPI Polytech entrance exam to be admitted to the Parcours des écoles d'ingénieurs Polytech (PeiP) (Polytech Engineering Schools Programme). As this is a French national exam, students are not required to undergo the Preliminary Admission Application procedure (DAP - Demande d'admission préalable).
• Students holding a BAC+2 (to be admitted at BAC+3 level) and those holding a BAC+4 (to be admitted at BAC+4 level) must pass the Polytech network’s national exam.
4 specializations are proposed to international students: electronics and electrical energy systems; spatial planning engineering; Information technology; mechanics and system design.
Furthermore, students may choose to study during their final year (BAC+5) in one of the 11 Polytech network schools.

Specific case: CEF

Students who have been selected through exams resident in one of these countries must register through the "Centre des Etudes en France (CEF)" website of their home country.
These applications are managed directly by the departments. In the event of difficulty, please contact the cultural department of the French Embassy of your home country. NO PAPER APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR STUDENTS FROM THESE COUNTRIES.
