First year Masters in Second Language Acquisition, French as a Foreign Language - Distance learnin

You cannot attend regular classes: the Department of Languages and Literature offers distance learning to prepare the M1 in Second Language Acquisition, French as a Foreign Language, and educational technologies.

To whom does this apply?

Enrollment is this distance learning program is reserved exclusively for students who cannot be present regularly in class (for professional reasons, health reasons, or due to geographical distance).

ATTENTION: You will have to justify your reasons for enrolling in distance learning.

What qualifications are required?

This distance learning is primarily for those holding a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Modern Literature or Classical Literature, Second Language Acquisition, Modern Languages, Applied Foreign Languages, with a specialization in teaching French as a foreign language (certificate or coursework). 



A committee will examine the dossiers of candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in a different field, or a foreign Bachelor's degree coupled with a specialization in teaching French as a foreign language or coursework and will make a decision based on a validation of studies and experience.



Students with a Bachelor's in a different field or a foreign Bachelor's degree must furnish, as part of their application dossier, a dossier requesting a validation of previous studies and professional experience (included in the application form).

How to apply?


First, complete the application forms and return them with, if necessary, the dossier requesting a validation of previous studies and professional experience, to the address indicated on the application forms.

After studying the application dossiers, successful candidates will be directed to one of the partner universities in order to complete the administrative part of enrollment (besides Tours there is also Angers and Le Mans), but the teaching is strictly the same across all three schools.
