BACHELOR History and Archaeology

The degree, with history and archaeology as the majoring subject, teaches students to understand social phenomena apprehended over time and to master writing and its analysis. Students acquire general culture and, at the same time, know-how that may be applied to various professional contexts.

The history and archaeology majoring subject of this Arts, Human and Social Sciences Degree offers students the opportunity to integrate a Franco-German curriculum that issues a double history degree. This curriculum is based on a partnership between the François-Rabelais University (Tours) and the University of the Ruhr (Bochum, Germany). Since academic year 2003/2004, it has benefited from a contribution from the Franco-German University (FGU, Saarbrücken).
