BACHELOR Foreign languages, Literature and Cultures (LLCE)

The main objective of the Foreign Languages, Literature and Cultures specialization is to pursue studies and provides students with the opportunity to apply for certain public service selection exams. The teaching selection exams are among those that offer the most opportunities. Graduates holding the Licence LLCE (Degree in Foreign Languages, Literature and Cultures) may work in the following fields and roles, subject however for certain fields, that graduates pursue studies to Master or Doctorate level or through a specialized school: Graduates may teach French to non-francophone publics, if they have followed the French Language Studies for Foreigners (FLE) programme, they may work as a literary translator, and provided they have a specialization in a speciality language, as a translator in more technical fields. The majoring subject (mention) also trains graduates to become experts in German, English, Spanish or Italian language and culture in cultural institutions and in private companies, in particular for those graduates who have followed an international relations programme. Furthermore, it trains graduates for work in territorial communities and educational establishments and linguist graduates who may choose to enter a career culture or the arts, or cultural mediation, in particular if they have followed the Performing Arts programme.
