Pre registrations for the academic year 2017-2018 will be available from april 2017!
Deadlines will be set to may 26th 2017.



  • Erasmus and Other Exchange Programmes
The registration procedure at François Rabelais University is divided into 3 stages.

Stage 1: online pre-registration


You must register only on the Internet thanks to an online application form
Once you have been nominated by your university you just need to provide your personal information by creating an account and by filling in the online form step by step (paying attention to possible error messages).

Once the information has been provided, please print the provided PDF form.
If you do not have immediate access to a printer, you can save the PDF file and print it later.

N.B. the form must be signed by the exchange co-ordinator in your home university. You must also sign it yourself, and then post it to Frédéric Soreau, your contact in Tours, including two passport-type photos.

N.B. non-European countries must conform to the CEF procedure.

If you want to come as an exchange student and if your country is among the list underneath, please follow this procedure on the portal "Etudes en France" [PDF - 79 Ko].

The main events of the academic calendar should be as follows :

*** I advise you to arrive around january 5th 2017 so that you have enough time to register and to explore the city and the university.

Registrations will start from january 9th 2017, at the International Relations Office.

• French Tuition for Exchange Students

The information specific to the CUEFEE (University Centre for the Teaching of French to Foreign Students) for 2016-2017 can be found here:

Please note that students with level of French inferior to A2 or above C1 will not be able to register for French classes at the CUEFEE.

Stage 2: Accommodation


• Types of accommodation:
You can choose among several types of accommodation:

- Residence halls (Forms gathered by our University (only for exchange students) and processed by the CROUS, please refer to the accommodation request form underneath)

- Private students residences (not managed by our University)

- Private accommodation [PDF - 171 Ko] (not managed by our University)

- Community centers (you can find some community centers that are not related to our university. Addresses and contacts can be sent to you by us).


• Booking accommodation:

You must fill in and print the form below (please complete it on the computer before printing it):

N.B : The accommodation request form must be sent in together with the signed registration forms. Failure to comply will lead to the form not being accepted.

No answer will be given to request forms sent in independently of the registration document.

Stage 3: Final Registration

On arrival in Tours, go to the International Office - 60, rue du Plat d’étain (Building A, ground floor)- to meet Frédéric SOREAU, the administrative coordinator.Please refer to this map [PDF - 2 Mo].

 

He will provide you with documents containing the basic information you will need for a successful stay. He will also give you the form required for your final registration in the Faculty of your choice.

N.B: if you have not yet found accommodation on arriving in Tours, we advise you to book a room in a hotel for a few nights.

You must send the whole pre registration file at once. This should include:

* 2 copies of your pre registration form (Moveonline), both signed by your coordinator and by you.
*1 certificate of registration in your own university
*2 ID photos (with your name on the back)
*Your accommodation form, duly completed 
*One self-addressed envelope (21x29.7)
